Utökad information om evenemanget
Medical evacuation in Ukraine is no longer simply about transporting wounded soldiers to safety. Drones, precision strikes and constant surveillance have fundamentally changed how evacuation missions are conducted and what vehicles are needed to survive. As the battlefield evolves, civilian pickups, vans and SUVs are continuously adapted with new protection, evacuation layouts and practical solutions based on frontline experience. What worked a few months ago may no longer be effective today. In this session, Ukrainian combat medic and Tac Med North instructor Oleksandr will share firsthand insights from helping convert more than 230 vehicles for medical evacuation and frontline support. Through real examples, including projects supported by HUG, participants will learn how battlefield needs drive innovation and how volunteers, engineers and military personnel work together to save lives.
