Beskrivning av samhällsfrågan
Humanoid robots are leaving the labs and entering workplaces, manufacturing and everyday life. Global investments are accelerating. For Sweden – with its strong industrial base and automation heritage – the question is urgent: how do we prepare our society and industry for the new era of physical AI
Utökad information om evenemanget
Humanoid robots are advancing rapidly from research prototypes to commercial products. Companies worldwide are investing billions to bring humanoids into manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and services. For Sweden, with its robotics heritage and world-leading industry, this is both an opportunity and a challenge. The session combines a keynote, a live humanoid robot demonstration and a panel discussion. The keynote examines the technologies driving progress, the global momentum behind the field, and the key engineering and deployment challenges that remain. A moderated panel then brings together researchers in humanoid robotics and production automation alongside industry representatives to explore: Are industry and society ready for humanoids? What can we realistically expect in the near term? And what must Sweden do to punch above its weight and put itself on the map in physical AI and humanoid robotics?
