As geopolitical tensions rise, resistance under occupation is once again a relevant question. During the Cold War, Sweden had clear plans for continued resistance. What remains relevant today, and how should a democratic society prepare?

A conversation about Sweden’s secret stay-behind network during the Cold War - the clandestine resistance structure prepared to operate in the event of Soviet occupation. Together with political scientist and researcher Johan Wennström. The discussion explores intelligence, covert planning, civil resistance, neutrality, and the hidden architecture of Swedish security policy beneath the surface of the Cold War. It also examines questions that have once again become highly relevant: how democratic societies prepare for disruption, occupation, sabotage and hybrid warfare - and what resilience, loyalty and resistance mean in an era of renewed geopolitical confrontation.
