Beskrivning av samhällsfrågan
War in Ukraine deeply affects children, taking away safety, homes, and normal development, forcing them to grow up amid loss and fear. At the same time, Ukrainian women play a vital role in sustaining families and society, showing strength, dignity, and resilience while rebuilding the future.
Utökad information om evenemanget
This event combines two artistic exhibitions that explore the human dimension of war through experiences of loss, resilience, and recovery. 1. "Silence" tells the story of stolen childhoods and the silence left by war—where children are denied the chance to grow, dream, and shape their future. 2. "Unbreakable Flower" highlights the strength of Ukrainian women, their dignity, inner resilience, and ability to preserve identity even in times of war. The format is a public panel discussion combined with visual material from the exhibitions. Through stories and images, participants are invited into reflection and dialogue on the consequences of war and human endurance. The aim is to create a space for understanding and discussion of the social and humanitarian impact of war. No specific preparation is required from participants, but the content includes emotionally sensitive themes.
