Beskrivning av samhällsfrågan

In the fourth year of war in Ukraine, unseen wounds remain in the minds and souls of survivors. Trauma affects both frontline medics and civilians, threatening individual well-being and societal resilience. Without addressing it, true recovery remains out of reach.

Utökad information om evenemanget

Mental health is not secondary in a time of war; it is vital for both personal survival and national resilience. Yet trauma among medical workers and civilians is often left unaddressed, leading to burnout, generational trauma, and long-term societal strain that may weaken national security and defence readiness. This interactive exhibition, a collaboration between RePower and The Sweden-Ukraine Foundation (ISSU), brings the topic to life. Visitors can view black-and-white portraits of Ukrainian frontline medics before and after RePower’s 10-day psychological recovery program in “Through Their Eyes – See the Unseen.” The exhibition also features the premiere of ISSU’s “SAY IT!” series—short films offering guidance and communication tools for those affected by war trauma. Guests can try Shiftwave, an innovative neurotechnology used in Ukraine to reduce stress and restore balance, or take a break in our moving cinema by day and karaoke bus by night.
