Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the foundations of industry. From predictive manufacturing and autonomous logistics to AI-enabled research and product design, the technology is transforming how companies innovate, produce and compete. The shift toward AI-driven industry is not simply about adopting new tools. It requires rethinking industrial systems, supply chains, workforce skills and research collaboration. The 2026 series of Engaging India at Almedalen examines how artificial intelligence is influencing identity, industrial transformation and planetary transition.
