Talent supply is one of the critical challenges of the future. How can we open doors for new talent, broaden the recruitment base, and secure skills for the games industry, and for society as a whole?

This seminar highlights four initiatives shaping the future talent of the games industry. Futuregames & Tencent Partnership: Supporting the next generation of game devs in Sweden and Poland. Tencent provides mentorship, aiming to equip students with the skills needed and strengthen the talent pipeline. King & SGI Scholarship: Introduces women, trans and non-binary individuals to the games industry through mentorship and networking, addressing gender imbalance by creating new pathways. Video Games Europe working with UNICEF Game Changers Coalition: A global forum uniting companies, governments, and young leaders to close the gender digital gap by promoting STEAM skills for girls worldwide. Games for Change Learn program: Invites students to create games inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, combining STEAM skills with social impact. Educators receive training to integrate game design into curricula, fostering creativity and problem-solving.
