Advancements in AI and robotics are reshaping the Swedish labour market, changing classroom dynamics, and creating new risks for potentially exploitative labour outsourcing -- leaving workers vulnerable to gaps in regulation.

Hosted by Uppsala University, this event will take place as a round table discussion/debate among a panel of experts on AI and robotics within society from a variety of institutions. The event will address: (1) How teleoperated humanoid in-home robots open the door to outsourcing the labor of housework to low-income countries and potentially depriving Swedish workers, (2) How AI and robots are entering the classroom and what it entails for the work and needs of teachers, and (3) How AI and robotics are reshaping the labor market in general, and how workers are vulnerable from gaps in the regulation.
