Beskrivning av samhällsfrågan
Sweden’s AI ambitions are accelerating, but the workforce is not keeping pace. A growing skills gap is slowing adoption, limiting competitiveness, and risking inequality. The key question is how to equip people, organisations, and society to turn AI into real economic and social value.
Utökad information om evenemanget
AI is already changing how work is done across Sweden. At the same time, a crucial societal question is emerging: how do we ensure that people have the skills they need to participate, contribute and thrive in a labour market where AI is becoming part of everyday working life? Sweden has strong ambitions in AI, but many employers are already reporting skills shortages and a growing gap between rapid technological development and people’s actual readiness to keep up. Demand for AI-related competence is rising quickly, while the shift is reshaping roles, learning needs and access to opportunity. This conversation explores what is required to prepare individuals, workplaces and society for the future of work — and how Sweden can make the transition both competitive and socially sustainable.
