Faced with shifting alliances, a volatile global order, and the brutal reality of war on its borders, the continent can no longer rely on legacy systems, legacy thinking, or legacy timelines. What is needed is not just more funding or faster procurement – but a reimagining of how innovation is applied at every level of defence and security. Engage in a discussion on how to enable rapid access to defence capabilities: How do we make good choices on what we buy? How do we shape the conditions for the industrial base to deliver?
